I have had Pitaka cases on my phones for nearly 5 years (iPhone 7, iPhone XS and iPhone 12 mini) - and love them, for the most part. They are thin, light and very strong. Can’t say how many times my phone has been saved by the case. I have also adopted their magnetic charging system, so have wireless, magnetic charging in my vehicle, nightstand and desk - all work flawlessly. I find the cases to be well worth the money. My only complaint is that on every single one of the cases I have purchased, the thin, plastic frame around the cut-out for the camera has broken within only months of use. The biggest problem with this is that this frame sits high enough to keep the camera itself off whatever surface the phone is on when placed with its back-side down. Losing this frame makes it so the phone’s camera comes into contact with the surface, increasing risk of scratches. When this happened with my iPhone XS case, I attempted to work with Pitaka warranty to have a new frame or replacement case sent but was only offered a 10% discount on a new case. I have not attempted to contact Pitaka warranty regarding the same problem that happened recently with my iPhone 12 mini case...Pros:-very light and thin-very strong/durable-has very small lip around front that keeps screen off surfaces when placed screen-side down-magnetic mount and charging options work very wellCons:-more expensive-frame to protect camera is prone to breaking off completely (has happened on all three Pitaka cases I’ve owned - for three different iPhone models)***UPDATE 3/4/2021***After typing this review, I reached out to Pitaka customer service regarding the broken camera frame/ring, and they promptly mailed me two replacement pieces after I emailed them pictures of the broken ring. I attached pictures of both.
